A note from our Artistic Director, Courtney Crouse:

I’d like to introduce you to EchoAwva, an organization designed to bring two bold dreams into being: sharing women’s artistic voices on international stages like the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, and launching the Dream Incubation Institute this summer.

Through creating a new online vocal pedagogy course rooted in modern neuroscience, I discovered how profoundly the mind and nervous system shape not only singing, but creativity itself—how ideas emerge, how they are sustained, and how artists either thrive or burn out. That learning has become the seed for the Dream Incubation Institute, a space where artists are given time, care, and science-backed tools to reconnect with their creative instincts and cultivate new work from a place of depth, rest, and imagination.

This is an invitation to help build something at its beginning—an ecosystem where women artists are supported, valued, and empowered to create work that resonates far beyond a single performance or season. Can’t wait to see what we build together!
